Description

We are seeking a Chief Operating Officer for a 5-year contract, based in East London, Eastern Cape

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

  • Related NQF8 (Post Grad Diploma / Honors Degree)
  • Postgraduate qualification in Business Management
  • Advanced business knowledge and solid understanding of industry specifics and business strategies
  • MBA / NBL or Executive Management Development Programme (preferable)
  • Minimum of years' experience of which 5 years must be at a senior management or executive level
  • Must have an understanding of the functions of a fleet service as well as occupational hazards

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • To be accountable and responsible for planning, directing, and evaluating the operation of all functions of the company including setting comprehensive goals for business growth and success
  • Transport operations and fleet management
  • Strategy development
  • Policy review and implementation
  • Operations management
  • Commercial management
  • Oversee customer experience
  • Digitalize operations
  • Stakeholder management
  • Financial management
  • People management
  • Reporting

Market related for the contract duration
