Mechanical Maintenance Foreman - Johannesburg, South Africa - Fempower Personnel
Description
Requirements:
- Matric.
- Trade tested Fitter, Fitter & Turner or Millwright.
- FMCG or Packaging or High Volume Manufacturing
- PLC experience
- Microsoft Office proficient.
- KRONOS would be advantageous.
- 5+ years' experience in maintenance and engineering roles in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- GMR experience would be advantageous.
- Sound knowledge of safety working procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that OHS Act and company safety rules are adhered to within the area of responsibility.
- Ensure machine availability and reliability as per set standard.
- Ensure that condition monitoring of all machines and the completion of all related documentation is done.
- Ensure the completion of all Quality and BRC related documents.
- Assist and support artisans with problem solving.
- Schedule the preplanned jobs for maintenance on machines.
- Ensure production housekeeping standards are achieved and maintained.
- Ensure the compliance and effectiveness of the planned maintenance system.
- Ensure the compliance and effectiveness of the lubrication program.
- Assist the Maintenance Planner in the purchasing of all parts required for maintenance.
- Liaise with suppliers and maintain spare inventory.
- Capture all maintenance documentation and maintain records.
