    Job Summary

    We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Manager to join our team at Standard Bank Group. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing end-to-end financial execution and supporting our CFO in achieving our business objectives.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead the Financial Reporting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for insurance companies, including IFRS 17 compliance.
    • Develop and implement financial reporting processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of financial reporting with other business functions.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on financial performance and trends.

    Requirements

    • CA (SA) qualification and 5-7 years of managerial experience in finance and value management.
    • Strong knowledge of insurance and financial reporting, including IFRS 17.
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
