Our client in the Boshoek area in need of a Male Safety Officer on a contract basis.

Key Performances areas:

Set daily, weekly, monthly standards and develop safety policies, procedures and standards
Determine the cause of accidents and provide associated recommendation's
Ensure the effective participation of the fulltime safety rep, monitor legal compliances.
Monitor adherence to SHE standard procedures schedule inspections / audits inspections. of workplace and machinery contractor safety management
Coordinate legal appointments
Assist with implementing sand monitoring emergency preparedness programmes
Facilitate risk assessment process

Qualifications:

Grade 12/NQF 4 equivalents
Trade certificate
Certificate of competence COMSOC 1 &
Risk management qualification
Accident investigations CAM/RCAT/SCAT qualification ISO OHSAS18001) / auditing qualification
Medical certificate of fitness at least 2 years' experience as a Safety Officer within the mining industry
