    Sales Coordinator Role at The Building Company

    Job Summary:

    This Sales Coordinator position plays a crucial role in maximizing sales turnover in the store while providing support and supervision to the sales team.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist and liaise with customers to meet their needs and preferences
    • Prioritize customer service to ensure exceptional experiences
    • Engage in telesales and sales service activities to drive revenue growth
    • Compile quotations and estimates for clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
    • Coordinate deliveries and follow up on quotations and estimates to maintain strong relationships
    • Manage sale budgets and oversee account applications to optimize financial performance
    • Conduct meetings with stakeholders to discuss goals, progress, and challenges
    • Set annual budgets and sale targets aligned with business objectives
    • Requisition goods and services from suppliers, ensuring efficient purchasing processes
    • Generate invoices and monitor credit limits to maintain healthy cash flow
    • Perform performance appraisals to evaluate team members' strengths and areas for improvement
    • Organize staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and productivity
    • Enforce discipline and handle grievances in accordance with company policies
    • Uphold and promote The Building Company's values and culture across all interactions

    Requirements:

    • Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Strong administration skills and experience
    • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships
    • Experience in project buying with suppliers, with excellent knowledge of the building and hardware industry
    • 2 years' experience in a similar sales coordinator role
    • Intermediate computer skills, with proficiency in Kerridge software
