Description
Leading outsourced solutions provider within the Food Service Sector and SLA space is looking to urgently fill the role of a General Manager role within the company hierarchy reporting to the CEO

Duties & Responsibilities

Financial

  • Projects within the allocated region achieve budgeted and/or expected profits
  • Project, regional and relevant Head Office expenses are in line with budgets and/or meet stipulated turnover/expense ratios
  • Efficient and ongoing control is exercised over menu costing, purchases, labour costs and appropriate and speedy action is taken to rectify identified problems
  • Efficient and ongoing control is exercised over debt collection and appropriate and speedy action is taken to rectify identified problems
  • Efficient and ongoing control is exercised over cash expenses and banking procedures
  • In liaison with the relevant Financial Manager annual budgets prepared and are scrutinised and adjusted where indicated and submitted to the Chief Financial Officer on or before the stipulated deadline
  • Quarterly projections and strategies submitted by Project Managers are evaluated and submitted on or before the required deadline
Marketing and Project Optimization

  • Premises, facilities and services are optimised to generate additional revenue and profits
  • Relevant events are diarised and attended in order to obtain leads for new business
  • In liaison with the CSMO, events and entertainment are planned, prepared and organised timeously and efficiently.
  • Clients and/or prospective clients are personally entertained during organised events in a professional manner
  • Sites are branded and aesthetically appealing in accordance with Company standards
  • Promotional and Innovational opportunities are recognised and activities are coordinated between relevant departments/personnel
Procurement

Health & Safety

Audit of food, procurement and purchases

Desired Experience & Qualification

5+ years Project Manager experience in contract managment and infrastructure planning

B.Com or similar, financial highly beneficial
