Role Purpose:

To ensure the Smelter equipment and infrastructure are available, working effectively and efficiently to enable and support Smelter production.

The role includes operationalising strategy, overseeing, managing, and controlling infrastructure & equipment performance and managing technical specialists to ensure the optimal utilisation of the plant and meeting production targets.

The scope of this role

equipment includes the management, maintenance and repair of all fixed assets, plant equipment, specialised equipment, instrumentation, anti-corrosion mechanisms, and temperature insulation.


Requirements:


  • BSc in relevant electromechanical and infrastructure engineering
  • Manage infrastructure and electro mechanical equipment projects in the operations phase
  • Ensure technology and technical transformation and continuous improvement regarding energy saving and power consumption.
  • Knowledge of entire smelter operations, equipment, machines, instrumentation, and infrastructure
  • Ability to deal with emergencies in the smelter plant.
  • 15 years relevant smelter equipment and infrastructure experience with proven experience
  • 5 years' experience in a managerial position
  • Fluency in mandarin ideal but not required.

Salary:

The salary is $12,350 USD NET monthly.
Rotation: 6/2 weeks or 8/3 weeks


Salary:

Up to R234,822.00 per month
