Job Title: Cost And Management Accountant

Pronel Personnel is seeking a highly skilled and innovative Cost and Management Accountant to join our client in the Durban area. The ideal candidate will possess a CIMA qualification and have experience in cost and management accounting, preferably in the food industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop accurate costing models for all products, ensuring precise product costing and determining gross profit per stock item.
Analyze gross profit margins per stock item and identify opportunities for improvement, maintaining overall stock accuracy.
Oversee inventory costing, valuation, and stock reconciliation, designing systems for improved costing and reporting.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights and recommendations for operational efficiency, preparing detailed financial reports and dashboards for management decision-making.

Requirements:

Completed Finance qualification (CIMA qualification preferred)
Proven experience in cost and management accounting, preferably in the food industry
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to design effective accounting and operational systems
Innovative thinker with excellent problem-solving abilities and advanced proficiency in Excel, familiarity with ERP systems matrix
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
