    Job Description for Sales Manager

    We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive business growth.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Develop a comprehensive business plan that outlines sales, revenue, and expense controls to manage organizational sales effectively.
    • Meet planned sales targets by setting individual sales goals with the sales team and tracking progress.
    • Oversee the activities and performance of the sales team, providing ongoing training and motivation to ensure they have the necessary product knowledge and skills.
    • Coordinate with marketing to generate leads and promote the organization and products to ideal customers.

    Key Requirements

    • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably as a commercial sales manager.
    • Matric or higher qualification.

    Sales Team Management

    • Set realistic sales targets with the sales team and track progress to achieve planned sales goals.
    • Provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.
    • Foster a positive team culture that encourages collaboration and customer satisfaction.

    Leadership Competencies

    • Proven leadership skills with experience in managing and directing a sales team.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage with customers and stakeholders.
    • Dedication to providing exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with key clients.

    Technical Skills

    • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

    Packages and Remuneration

    The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary range of R20,000 - R25,000 per month, plus additional benefits including medical allowance, cell phone allowance, fuel allowance, and provident fund.
