Description

The purpose of a Convenience store manager is to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Petrol station, including Convenience store.

This includes managing staff, monitoring customer service and sales, controlling inventory and stock levels, ensuring health and safety regulations are adhered to, and ensuring the efficient running of the business.

The manager is also responsible for ensuring that customer needs are met and that customer satisfaction is maintained.

Key performance areas
- manage day to day operations of the store
- manage inventory
- manage Cash flow - including balancing cashiers daily
- manage banking activity

  • Manager, and control staff performance daily
- manage labour cost as per company policy

  • Stock takes as per company requirements

Skills

  • Excellent customer service
  • Retail knowledge and experience
- inventory management

  • Cash handling
  • Leadership and staff management

Salary:
R10, R15,000.00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Retail and Fuel station: 3 years (required)
