    Description

    Job Responsibilities

    • System Analysis and Improvement
      • Conduct regular reviews of existing systems and applications to identify areas for improvement.
      • Evaluate development requests and requirements from business stakeholders, and provide recommendations for adoption.
      • IDentify challenges and obstacles that users face when interacting with systems.
      • Plan, scope, document, and implement system improvements through enhancement, integration, or interfacing of existing systems, as well as the implementation of new systems.
    • Systems Development
      • Develop and maintain intermediate-level software development skills (SQL queries & updates, Visual Basic, C#, HTML).
      • Design and develop interdisciplinary system solutions using various technologies (e.g., Microsoft, Unix, SQL, APIs, Apache, IIS).
      • Collaborate with development support teams and internal staff to gather feedback and ensure high-quality development undertakings.
      • Conduct thorough system and user acceptance testing (UAT) prior to release, in collaboration with external vendors and responsible staff.
    • Reporting and Documentation
    • Database Management
      • Lead data quality initiatives (data enrichment, mandatory fields, procedures, OCR existing documents, standardization, identification of missing fields, and corrective plans).
      • Build and manage data warehouses and marts, including PowerBI reporting.
    • Research and Implementation of Projects
      • Establish and enforce best practices for the System Development Life-Cycle (SDLC) of all business applications.
      • Apply project management principles, following Agile Development and Project management methodologies, to execute high-impact organizational-wide application changes.
      • Implement standards of compliance and good practice, taking into account audit recommendations and SOC2 compliance.
      • Integrate security, audit, and Disaster Recovery requirements into all projects.
      • Demonstrate a strong understanding of IT systems (hardware, software, databases, networking, security), strategic thinking, excellent analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
    • Finance
      • Manage budgeting and review system development billing items.

    Required Qualifications and Experience

    Qualification

    • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology is required.

    Additional Requirements

    • Proficiency in Microsoft SQL, IIBA Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), INCOSE Expert Systems Engineering Professional (ESEP), and DEAC Certified Enterprise Architect (CEA)
    • 5 years of experience in ICT Security in a Systems Development Environment.
    • Experience with on-premise and cloud environments.
