Main Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly at assigned tables, providing menus and wine lists.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of all menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
• E nsure tables are set with linens, silverware, and glasses.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system and deliver within specified time limits.
• Coordinate seamlessly with bar and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
• Clear used cutlery and crockery once guests have finished.
• Offer desserts and coffee, emphasizing upselling.
• Accurately bill guests and ensure prompt payment.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across the restaurant area, fixtures, and fittings.
• Present a clean and professional appearance in uniform at all times.

Main Requirements:

• Grade 12 qualification.
• Preferably 3 years of waiter/waitress experience in a similar environment (5 years for Senior Waiter).
• Basic knowledge of wine and local wine regions.
• Hands-on experience with a cash register and ordering systems.
• Strong math skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
• A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and attentive listening.
• Patience and attentiveness to guests'' needs.
• Comfortable working with distinguished clientele.
• Well-presented, enthusiastic, and flexible with a strong sense of accountability.
