Incredible opportunity for an outgoing, dynamic person with an MSc/PhD qualification in Molecular Biology with a flair for speaking to and engaging with people

Must have at least 2 years independent, hands on, molecular biology-related lab experience (PCR & NGS) and have demonstrable people skills with 1 2 years previous experience in a customer service-based role highly advantageous, with a valid drivers license, own vehicle & SA citizen.

A well renowned and established South African distributor of high-quality instrumentation, consumables and lab solutions is recruiting for a qualified Sales Rep role in their Molecular Biology division.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Masters (MSc)/Doctorate (PhD) in Molecular Biology or related life science
• At least 2 years hands on, independent lab experience using Molecular biology
• Knowledge & practical experience in PCR, Next Generation Sequencing
• Customer service experience in sales in labbased industry (12 years ideally)
• Outstanding communication skills (English)
• Strategic thinker, selfmotivated, goal driven, problem solver
• Professional personal presentation & well spoken
• Willing to travel with drivers license & own vehicle
• Valid SA ID
