We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Lecturer to join our Business Faculty with immediate effect.
This role is suited for an individual who is ready to contribute meaningfully from day one and play a key role in shaping the future of higher education.
Role DescriptionThis is a Independent Contractors (IC) on-site role for Commerce: Lecturer.
The position involves delivering lectures, conducting tutorials, developing course materials, assessing student learning, and engaging in academic research and development.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality lectures in both contact and blended learning environments
Engage and support students to achieve academic success
Contribute to assessment development, moderation, and quality assurance processes
Collaborate across campuses to ensure academic consistency and excellence
Location
Requirements:
NB Based in Boksburg or Roodepoort (or surrounding areas), with the flexibility and willingness to travel between campuses as required.
Strong presentation and communication skills
Ability to engage and motivate students
Expertise in Commerce, Business Management, or related fields
Experience in teaching or training roles
PhD or Master's degree in relevant discipline
Industry certifications or professional qualifications are a plus
Requirements:
Master's degree in a relevant Business-related field (non-negotiable)
South African citizenship (non-negotiable)
Valid driver's license and reliable transport, or willingness to relocate (non-negotiable)
Willingness to travel between campuses (Boksburg and Roodepoort)
Strong communication, facilitation, and engagement skills
Min. 3 years industry & academic experience
Strong in curriculum development, digital teaching tools & academic leadership.
