As our Production and Logistics Manager, you will be at the forefront of our commitment to quality and efficiency.


Responsibilities:


Production:

Production Planning (bottled wine):


  • Expertly forecast and communicate production needs to suppliers.
  • Execute seamless procurement processes (PO, order, GRV).
  • Coordinate labelling and rework schedules with precision.
  • Ensure the availability of dry goods for production.
  • Oversee warehouse controller, ensuring quality control and efficiency.

Admin:


  • Handle sensorial approvals and renewals.
  • Facilitate final certification (BG11) processes.
  • Lead monthly SAWIS submissions (SAWIS 5 and 7) and cellar stock reconciliation for accounts.
  • Drive the success of our annual stocktake.
  • Efficiently manage WineMS processes, including PO, GRV, and Labelling runs.
  • Contribute to tender and product information sheet creation.

Logistics:

Exports:


  • Receive and process export orders promptly.
  • Collaborate with the warehouse team to verify stock accuracy.
  • Check invoices meticulously for accuracy.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders for export certificate details.
  • Coordinate delivery logistics seamlessly.
  • Ensure compliance with SAWIS 6 for exports.

Warehouse/Dispatching:


  • Manage the stock inbox and warehouse operations efficiently.
  • Assist in scheduling reworks and provide oversight to the warehouse controller.
  • Coordinate offsite warehouse stock with precision.
  • Process orders for local and online sales seamlessly.

Customer Relationships:


  • Respond promptly to customer orders and queries.
  • Serve as the primary contact point for representatives and export agents.

Skills and Competencies:


  • 3 years' + experience in a similar role.
  • Cellar management experience is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team player with a flexible and cando attitude.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to work accuracy.
