Description
This position is responsible for all the processes and activities in the creditors' cycle, including processing of invoices to the correct GL and jobs, and payment to vendors.
Tasks include, but not limited to:
Financial reporting
Ensure that all supplier invoices are processed timeously and reconciled.
Al sundry invoices should be allocated to the corresponding GL and no payment will be made without valid authorisation.
Opening of new suppliers on the NAV system according to IPG policies.
Editing of supplier information and verify all changes accordingly.
Ensure that all freelancers are captured on the system in accordance with HR policies.
Perform monthly reconciliations on all vendors in a timely manner and to reconcile all differences with vendors.
Prepare journal entries at month end as well the capturing of all accruals timeously.
Communicating with all suppliers to resolve all queries.
Load and pay suppliers monthly
Save items in a secure folder and ready for audit
Handle audit queries
Ensure that allocated projects as specified by the financial manager are completed and that project deadlines have been met
Prepare EFT transfers for approval by the financial manager.
Manage all external and internal audits and addresses all queries raised at audits.
General
Should be able to work flexible hours and well under pressure.
A team player is required to fill this space.
Ability to meet deadlines and be pro-active.
Knowledge and skills
Matric with mathematics and accounting
A diploma/degree in finance and accounting is an advantage
A minimum of two to three years working experience within a creditors clerk role
Advanced Excel skills
Knowledge and experience in Navision accounting system
