ROLE SUMMARY:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan and present engaging Mathematics and Natural Science lessons.
• Establish a nurturing teaching environment that promotes engaged learning.
• Behave professionally with regard to punctuality, behaviour, and standards of work.
• Evaluate and refine teaching practice through continuous professional development.
• Teach extra lessons as required on two afternoons per week.
• Produce high-quality resources for students.
• Respond to parent inquiries within 24 hours.
• Show loyalty to all aspects of Reddam House.
• Attend special occasions at the discretion of the Head of School.
• Set and mark exams and student evaluations.
• Write report comments.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

• Able to set clear expectations and goals.
• Adaptable teaching style incorporating feedback.
• Depth of understanding in relevant subject areas.
• Ability to assess learning effectiveness.
• Excellent preparation and planning.
• Assessment of student outcomes and feedback.
• Genuine care for student welfare.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience working with students in a school.
• Confidence in using ICT in teaching.
• University degree in an appropriate subject.
• Certified Teaching Status.
• Right to work.
