    Description

    Design Engineer – Roads

    A large consulting company with multiple offices across South Africa seeks a Design Engineer – Roads to work in their Cape Town office.

    Essential Requirements:

    • Registration with ECSA as a Professional Registered Engineer.
    • A minimum of 10 years post registration experience.
    • Experience in producing road design drawings using AutoCAD software.
    • Proficiency in road design software, such as Civil Design or Civil 3D.
    • Familiarity with road design standards and procedures.

    Your Key Responsibilities:

    • Undertake duties of the Employer's Agent/Engineer in accordance with GCC2015/FIDIC.
    • Lead and supervise technicians and junior engineers.
    • Oversee work completed in accordance with GCC2015/FIDIC, COLTO/COTO guidelines.
    • Develop and implement infrastructure projects related to roads design.
    • Contribute to revenue-generating work.
    • Ensure exceptional service quality.
    • Apply risk and quality management principles effectively.
