Our client is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Production Manager to join their team.

As a Production Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing the manufacturing process to ensure efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery of products.

Responsibilities:

Production Planning and Scheduling:
Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demands and optimize resource allocation.
Create and maintain production schedules, ensuring timely completion of orders.
Team Leadership:
Lead and motivate the production team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
Foster a culture of teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.
Quality Assurance:
Establish and enforce quality control standards to meet or exceed customer expectations.
Implement quality improvement initiatives and corrective actions as needed.
Resource Management:
Manage production resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure the availability of necessary materials and supplies.
Budget Management:
Monitor and control production costs to stay within budgetary constraints.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational improvement.
Health and Safety Compliance:
Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and regulations.
Investigate and address any safety incidents or concerns promptly.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement lean manufacturing principles.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management) is preferred.
Food Manufacturing Experience: Proven experience in maintenance management within the food manufacturing industry, with a strong understanding of meat, fish, poultry, bakery, and dairy production processes.
Proven experience in production management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of production planning software and tools.
Demonstrated experience in implementing lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and production management software.
Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and certifications is a plus.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
