Our client is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Production Manager to join their team.As a Production Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing the manufacturing process to ensure efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery of products.

Responsibilities:
- Production Planning and Scheduling:
- Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demands and optimize resource allocation.
- Create and maintain production schedules, ensuring timely completion of orders.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate the production team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Quality Assurance:
- Establish and enforce quality control standards to meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Implement quality improvement initiatives and corrective actions as needed.
- Resource Management:
- Manage production resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure the availability of necessary materials and supplies.
- Budget Management:
- Monitor and control production costs to stay within budgetary constraints.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational improvement.
- Health and Safety Compliance:
- Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and regulations.
- Investigate and address any safety incidents or concerns promptly.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement lean manufacturing principles.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management) is preferred.
- Food Manufacturing Experience: Proven experience in maintenance management within the food manufacturing industry, with a strong understanding of meat, fish, poultry, bakery, and dairy production processes.
- Proven experience in production management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of production planning software and tools.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and production management software.
- Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and certifications is a plus.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
