Description

AHRI seeks to appoint a research associate with a social science background to work within a newly funded research grant by the Wellcome Trust on the impact of extreme weather events on mental health.

Minimum Qualifications

A doctoral degree in a relevant field which may include but is not limited to social science, research psychology or medical anthropology.
Record of scholarly publication, including firstauthored scientific journal articles

Minimum Experience

Expertise in research design and strong analytical skills
Demonstrated track record engaging in fieldwork, involving meeting with stakeholders including study participants, clinicians, community members, and researchers.
Experience working in or collaborating with researchers in healthrelated research
Prior supervision of a research team or coordination of research activities in low

- and middle-income settings.
