    Job Overview:
    We are seeking a skilled Business Development Executive to discover and nurture sales opportunities, identify new markets, engage with existing clients for expansion, and propose tailor-made solutions that cater to client's business needs, with the ultimate goal of meeting sales targets in southern Africa and into Africa.

    Key Responsibilities:
    1. Drive sales for software products in southern Africa and into Africa.
    2. Generate new business leads through various sources such as cold calling, web leads, trade exhibitions, and local industry networking events.
    3. Follow-up and qualify leads to ascertain their business requirements and explore potential growth opportunities.
    4. Collaborate with Development and Support teams to suggest suitable software solutions tailored to client needs.
    5. Create and present persuasive sales pitches for products and services, highlighting value-added benefits.
    6. Negotiate pricing, rental, and service level agreements with clients to ensure mutually beneficial terms.
    7. Facilitate the creation and correct billing setup for client accounts to maintain seamless operations.
    8. Collaborate with internal teams for robust project implementation and effective change management.
    9. Maintain and enhance client relationships to improve sales, customer experience, and loyalty.
    10. Address and resolve any client concerns efficiently to prevent escalation and maintain a positive reputation.
    Requirements & Skills:
    1. Grade 12 completion is mandatory.
    2. A relevant IT or Sales and Marketing degree/diploma is advantageous but not essential.
    3. Proven experience in software sales is crucial, preferably in southern Africa or Africa.
    4. Proficiency in various African languages like Zulu, Xhosa, Sotho, Tsonga, Venda is necessary to effectively communicate with diverse clients.
    5. Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
    6. Excellent sales and negotiation skills, with a strong focus on relationship-building and customer satisfaction.
    7. Solid understanding of customer and market dynamics, including industry trends and competitor analysis.
    8. Should have a solid sales track record in software, insurance, or financial services and must exhibit exceptional hunting skills.
