    Santam Broker Solutions has an exciting opportunity for a Risk Assurance Specialist who will be based at Hill on Empire in Parktown. This role falls under the Quality Assurance function, which operates with a management mandate, providing independent, objective assurance and advisory services to assist business in enhancing the overall operational governance, quality and service standards. We are seeking a highly professional and driven individual to assume this role, reporting to a Quality Assurance Manager.

    Key Responsibilities

    The successful candidate will be responsible for performing quality assurance and due diligence reviews on all portfolio administration business.

    • Verification of business partner's application against their underwriting, premium collection, claims mandate finance and systems utilised.
    • Performing quality assurance reviews to provide independent assurance and advisory services to assist business in enhancing their overall operational governance processes, quality and service standards.
    • Supporting the Business to discharge their responsibilities relating to the compliance risk management process as required by relevant regulatory requirements, applicable codes of conduct and minimum standards.

    Requirements

    • Knowledge of risk management and risk management practice.
    • Exposure to a Quality Assurance environment and Internal Audit.
    • Underwriting, premium collection and claims business experience.
    • Knowledge of FAIS.
    • Understanding of the regulatory and business environment of the Short-Term Insurance industry.
    • IT Governance & Information Systems Audit.

    • A good knowledge of the business and the ability to evaluate risks.
