Job Title: Training Department Manager

About the Role:

The Training Department Manager will oversee the overall management of the Training Department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality training programs and maintaining accreditation standards. This role involves line managing course leaders, ATA Administrators, and tutors, as well as recruiting new staff members.

Main Responsibilities:

Maintain accreditation of courses and facilitate accreditation of non-accredited courses.
Manage functional area budgets in collaboration with department heads to achieve desired outcomes.
Develop and implement training programs aligned with the company's business plan.
Lead the planning and delivery of graduation events.
Oversee the maintenance of the Training Department content on the company website.
Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.

Requirements:

National Senior Certificate and tertiary qualification.
Relevant work experience in the Education, Training, and Development sector.
Leadership and management skills, including problem-solving and decision-making.
Project management experience and working knowledge of skills development, learnerships, reporting requirements, and education legislation and policy.
Programme development and teaching and learning expertise in a specific area.
Quality assurance and policy development skills.

Additional Information:

This role requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as the ability to develop and implement effective training programs. The ideal candidate will have relevant work experience in the Education, Training, and Development sector and be familiar with skills development, learnerships, reporting requirements, and education legislation and policy.
