Dispatch Clerk - Estcourt, South Africa - Eskort
Description
QUALIFICATION:
- Grade 1
- Diploma in logistics, Supply Chain Management or any related field.
EXPERIENCE:
- One year of experience in a dispatch/warehousing environment
KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
- Knowledge of supply chain best practises
- Knowledge of the FMCG industry is critical
- System orientated and able to work on a ERP
- Knowledge of Meat Matrix
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Attention to detail
- Intermediate MS Excel skills
- Basic MS Office 365 skills
- Excellent admininstrative skills
- Organized and punctual
- Communication skills written and verbally
- Data interpretation and manipulation skills
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Below is a list of responsibilities pertaining to the position of dispatch clerk. Take note that your tasks will not be limited to the below and you will be asked to conduct tasks that are related on unrelated to your job desription.
- Ordering products from production
- Stock reporting
- Compiling of stock sheet
- Managing of daily deliveries
- Invoicing trucks
- Chep transfers
- Daily and monthly stock counts
- Butchery transfers
- Internal transfers to production
- Ordering products from Heidelberg and checking all final products received
- Dealing with customer orders and complaints.
- Stock rotation and allocationCompiling following days stock to load on spreadsheet.
