    Project Planner Role Overview

    This is a specialist Project Management Consulting role that requires an experienced Project Planner to develop, progress and report the schedule status of projects. The successful candidate will work at HQ and on-site, traveling extensively.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Develop and maintain project schedules, providing proactive support to ensure timely delivery.
    • Prepare detailed forward plans, identifying key milestones and critical constraints.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

    • Progress measurement and reporting, providing feedback to project teams.
    • Maintaining master schedules and reviewing milestones for accuracy.
    • Developing work breakdown structures (WBS) and integrating codes of accounts.
    • Establishing productivity norms, time standards, and progress measurement criteria.
    • Identifying key critical constraints and interfaces in project implementation schedules.
    • Reporting slippages and gains against baseline schedules.
    • Monitoring and controlling free and total float in schedules.
    • Evaluating and integrating contractor and supplier schedules.
    • Managing changes in schedules and preparing management reports.

    Desired Experience and Qualifications

    We are seeking candidates with:

    • Expert knowledge of MS Project and MS Office.
    • Experience in project planning for multi-discipline mining, minerals, and petrochemical processing projects.
    • EPC/EPCM experience in consulting or construction environments.
    • Relevant qualifications such as PMI SP, PMP, CAPM, or similar certifications.
