Umhlanga. Opportunity exists for Collections Manager with minimum 3+ years' previous experience within a call centre collections environment

to join well-established, esteemed law firm.


Responsibilities:


  • Meet or exceed Internal Collections Key Performance Indicators through effective management of People, Processes, and Technology within operating budget
  • Execute and take ownership of collections strategies / book management
  • Daily portfolio analysis, identification, and execution of relevant campaigns to maximise collections
  • Ensure that resources are adequately trained, developed, and supported
  • Active management of Team Managers to ensure consistence agent performance management compliance
  • Responsible for maintaining key strategic relationships with the Executives, Senior Managers, and support staff
  • Ensure Call Centre productivity is optimized through handson management of the team and introduction of best practices
  • Strategic and best practice thoughtleadership within the Collections Call Centre to enhance operational competencies
  • Compile and produce relevant reporting and analysis in order to maximize results
  • Ensure staff are led and managed optimally and Performance Management applied consistently

Requirements:


  • Relevant tertiary education
  • Minimum 3+ years' previous experience within a call centre collections environment
  • Experience in managing a collections team (soft and hard collections) with the ability to establish and maintain an efficient and productive working environment based on continuous and effective staff communication
  • Collection's strategy experience with direct experience in a customer service environment and ability to take full accountability for the endtoend collections and credit processes
  • Advanced knowledge in MS Office suite, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong time and people management skills
  • Proactive team player
  • Ability to think on your feet and use initiative
  • Performance driven
  • Ability to take ownership of responsibilities
