Industrial Relations Consultant

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Relations Consultant to join our team at Labournet in the Durban North area, around Umhlanga/Ballito.

Duties and Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining strong client relationships and providing expert industrial relations services.
• Regularly contacting clients according to established schedules.

Typical tasks can encompass:

• Chairing disciplinary hearings.
• Developing judgments for clients.
• Assisting with issuing warnings to ensure compliance.
• Crafting and implementing policies.

Additionally, you may be involved in more complex issues such as:

• Strike Management.

Desired Experience and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

• A customer-centric approach and relevant qualifications in HR/IR/LLB or related fields.
• At least 3 years of experience in Industrial Relations, preferably with a degree equivalent to a B. Degree.
• A strong eagerness to learn and stay up-to-date on labour law developments.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• A valid driver's license and own vehicle is essential for travel between locations.
• Residency in the DBN North, Umhlanga/Ballito area is required.
