Service Engineer - Randburg - MC Technology Staffing

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing humidification systems. You will work with customers to troubleshoot technical issues and provide ongoing support after installation.

Key Responsibilities:

System Installation and Maintenance: Conduct installations, perform routine maintenance, and repair humidification systems as needed.
Troubleshooting and Technical Support: Diagnose and resolve technical issues on-site and provide technical training to clients.
Customer Support: Collaborate with sales team to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction post-installation.
Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of services performed and generate reports as required.
Leadership and Team Management: Oversee the service department, manage field service schedules, and lead a team of junior technicians.
Maintenance Scheduling and Protocols: Implement efficient maintenance schedules and service protocols to improve productivity.

Skill Requirements:

Diagnostics and Troubleshooting: Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Technical Knowledge: Good understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, including refrigeration and air conditioning.
Customer Service: Excellent customer service and communication skills to build strong relationships with clients.
Leadership and Teamwork: Ability to work independently, manage teams, and motivate junior technicians.
Service Operations: Knowledge of service operations and workflow optimization to improve efficiency and productivity.

Education and Qualifications:

Trade Test/Diploma: Trade test or diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
Refrigeration/Air Conditioning: Refrigeration/Air Conditioning qualification is an advantage but not mandatory.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM, with availability for after-hours service.
