    **Job Description**

    We're looking for a Junior Fashion Graphic Designer to join our Trend & Design team and drive the latest sports fashion trends at Mr Price Sport.

    This role is key to our design process, conceptualizing and creating captivating artwork designs for our sports apparel, footwear, and equipment ranges.

    **Responsibilities**

    Developing Ranges

    1. Under supervision and guidance of the Buyer, conceptualize, plan, and develop new styles and/or upgrade existing styles according to the approved seasonal strategy, based on trends and customer demand to provide our customers with the wanted product.
    2. With guidance, compile supplier tech packs containing detailed information on the relevant product so that the supplier can provide costings and execute.
    3. Assist in print and colour approvals.
    4. Assist in the preparation of marketing briefs, merch mags (VM), inspiration, and boards.
    5. Under supervision, update packaging, labeling, and branding in accordance with seasonal strategies.
    6. With guidance, build design libraries and templates to assist through range builds.

    **Current Trade Analysis**

    1. With guidance, monitor current trade and analyze performance of product in order to identify design opportunities in upcoming seasons (brothers and sisters).
    2. Along with team, conduct store visits to ensure that product and in-store execution is as per briefs.

    **Trend Research & Product Development**

    1. With guidance, conduct competitor shops using local retailers as well as online resources to stay abreast of current trends in fashion and present findings to buyer/s on print color, fabrications, category calls, and newness to apply learnings to designs.

    The ideal candidate will possess a degree or diploma in fashion design, clothing technology, graphic design, or related field. 1-2 years of experience in clothing design would be advantageous.

    The selected candidate should have specific knowledge of product or garment construction, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign CS5, time management, communication skills, and presentation skills.
