    Qualifications and Experience

    We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to join our team. To be successful in this role, you will require:

    • A completed tertiary qualification or studies towards a Bachelor of Science/Human Movement Science or similar.
    • Good knowledge of human anatomy.
    • 1-2 years' experience in theatre sales.
    • Computer literacy (Microsoft Word package).
    • Practical experience with hospital procurement systems and processes.
    • Own transport and a valid driver's license.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    The ideal candidate will be responsible for exceeding the annual sales budget by selling surgical instruments and products to hospitals and related healthcare professionals. Key responsibilities include:

    • Managing relationships with general surgery, plastic surgery, paediatrics, gynaecology, urology, ENTs, orthopaedics, and other healthcare professionals.
    • Promoting current and new products to increase market share.
    • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
    • Exceeding contracted budgets and achieving sales targets.
    • Maintaining and growing existing accounts.
    • Developing new business opportunities.

    Performance Metrics

    The successful candidate will be measured on their ability to:

    • Exceed annual sales budgets.
    • Implement effective sales plans.
    • Grow existing business.
    • Manage customer relationships at all levels.
    • Effectively manage expense budgets and consignment accounts.

    Reporting and Communication

    The incumbent will report to the designated Regional Sales Manager, who will communicate sales plans and budget requirements. The RSM will also provide guidance on implementing sales plans to achieve budget targets.
