    We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team specializing in cold storage.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage day-to-day payroll activities and process all payrolls accurately and efficiently.
    • Coordinate the onboarding of new employees, ensuring a seamless transition, and manage termination administration with professionalism.
    • Oversee leave management, maintaining up-to-date records and adhering to company policies.
    • Supervise ESS management, including training new employees on the system, to ensure optimal utilization.
    • Distribute payslips to employees in a timely manner, guaranteeing accuracy and clarity.
    • Maintain accurate and confidential employee files, adhering to data protection regulations.
    • Prepare third-party payments, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
    • Conduct weekly and monthly payroll control account reconciliations, identifying any discrepancies or errors.
    • Compile month-end reports and effectuate timely payments, maintaining a high level of accuracy.
    • Generate standard and ad-hoc reports as required, using advanced spreadsheet techniques.
    • Ensure tax-related activities and compliance status are managed effectively, meeting regulatory requirements.
    • Facilitate e-filing submissions, guaranteeing accuracy and adherence to deadlines.

    Requirements:

    • A relevant tertiary qualification, preferably in payroll, is advantageous.
    • Minimum 5 years' experience in a full payroll function, with a strong emphasis on organizational skills.
    • At least 3 years' experience working with SAGE 300 payroll software is mandatory.
    • Experience with payroll control account reconciliation is essential for this role.
    • Familiarity with Time and Attendance systems is necessary for effective management.
    • Stay current with the latest payroll and tax legislation, applying knowledge to optimize processes.
    • Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office and MS Excel at an intermediate level.
    • Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information, upholding the trust placed in you.
