The position reports to the National Recovery Operations Manager.

Your responsibilities will include:


  • Assist with the procuring of Operational materials and general procurement within DC in line with the agreed plans, budgets, schedules, and process / file all documentation
  • Assist with the resource requirements planning for the DC
  • Maintain records, monitor DC processing, and inventory control
  • Stock Control and management of all Operational materials
  • Coordinate temporary staffing in line with the DC plans and schedules
  • Maintain daily communication with the labour brokers and provide feedback to management
  • Assist with the waste management function and record costs and volume
  • Access control and induction of new staff
  • Scheduled monitoring and highlighting of staff attendance.
  • Preparation and control of stock offers for buyers
  • Maintain records of dispatched stock offers and the management of the dispatching process
  • Assist with the administrative preparations for month end financial reports and location mapping
  • Assist with management of DC operations in the absence of management (2IC)

Qualifications:


  • National Senior Certificate
  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience within DC operations
  • High level of proficiency with MS Office packages
  • Comfortable with change and excellent team player
  • Comfortable with learning and adapting to new systems

  • Previous experience in Stock Control and warehouse operations
