We are looking for a
Chief Financial Officer, to join our team based in our
Cape Town/
Centurion Office. This position reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer.
Preferably an Employment Equity (EE) appointment.

Mandate:
The Chief Financial Officer's role is to lead, direct and oversee all operational and strategic matters as they relate to the company's accounting, finance, risk, compliance, and corporate governance responsibilities and reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops finance operating plan.
- Creates the capabilities of the organisation to manage funding from several sources.
- Provides strategic financial thought leadership and advice.
- Conducts financial trend analyses and forecasting for sound financial decision making, sustainability and investment.
- Devises hedging strategy to ensure foreign exchange risk is mitigated.
- Manages all accounting activities.
- Assumes accountability for all corporate finance activities, including: o companywide budget processes and allocation o cash flow forecasts o foreign exchange o financial reserve o tax submissions o insurance o employee benefits
- Assumes accountability for all commercial agreements, including properties, assets and equipment
- Assumes accountability for all commercial agreements, including properties, assets and equipment
- Responsible for Governance and Risk Management
- Responsible for staff development, staff performance, succession planning and career growth plus any other development of delegated teams within your department
- Drive the Shout culture and vision
Relevant Qualification Required:
- Relevant Bachelors' degree in Finance/ Accounting/ Business/ Management
- Masters' Degree in Finance / Accounting / Business Management, as an added advantage
- Member of a Professional Accounting Association, such as CA, AGA, CPA, ACCA or similar
Relevant Experience Required:
- At least 10 years' experience in Financial Management
- At least 5 years' experience in Leading and Managing International Finances for donor funding project, as an Executive
- At least 5 years' experience of corporate finance and risk management practices
- Indepth knowledge, and experience in, of USG and other international donor rules and regulations
- Strong track record in strategic planning and execution
- Experience in corporate governance and financial reporting requirements
- Commercial experience, including contract negotiation
- Strategic thinker, leadership and stakeholder engagement
- Ethical leadership and judgement
- Able to multitask, prioritize and juggle competing priorities
- Valid Drivers License
