Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Despatch Supervisor to join our team in BUCO Rustenburg. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient despatch of goods and adherence to company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

1. Coordinate customer deliveries efficiently and effectively.
2. Maintain accurate administrative functions and ensure smooth store operations.
3. Inspire and motivate employees to meet store objectives, adhering to company policies and best practices.
4. Certify forklifts are operational by checking essential systems.
5. Monitor and manage staff attendance to maintain productivity.
6. Attend to customers driving into the yard promptly.
7. Ensure legal compliance with all relevant legislation and take appropriate action when necessary.
8. Report discrepancies to management immediately.
9. Effectively manage staff rosters for weekends and public holidays.
10. Manage stock levels accurately and ensure timely delivery.
11. Inspect stock and delivery vehicles leaving the yard regularly.
12. Promote and uphold The Building Company's values and culture.

Requirements

• Grade 12 certification.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
• Tech qualification or diploma.
• Basic computer skills.
• Familiarity with relevant systems.
