This is an operation function that is responsible for ensuring that Tourplan is accurately and timeously updated with rates, terms and conditions.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Interpret information on the contract, compare year on year pricing and escalate any anomalies/ queries to the Contracts Manager.
- Load all relevant contract information, supplier and product information, rates, terms and conditions and documentation text accurately into Tourplan.
- Adhere to Loading standards to ensure consistency across our portfolio
- Assist with checking colleagues work as required
- Update Contracts Loading work in progress excel spreadsheet.
- Assist Reservations with Tourplan queries.
- Manage loading priorities according to production stats.
MINIMUM CRITERIA
- Matric
- Relevant qualification in Travel and Tourism would be an advantage
- Computer skills: Outlook, Excel, Word, Tourplan
- In depth knowledge of Tourplan (or other wholesale reservation system) from input to output
- Good geographic knowledge of Southern Africa
- Understanding of contract terms and conditions, travel terminology, net and gross pricing, markups and profit margins, room configurations etc.
- Strong analytical skills
