Description
Draw off mill waste into specifically designated drums (or bags if required)

  • Determine the weight of each drum, both empty and full, and record the results on the applicable form
  • Ensure that the full mill waste drums are available for the Forklift Driver to collect for transport to the waste yard
  • Refeed reject Filtraflo finished product into the mill pickup line recycle hopper. Ensure that reject is recycled on a continuous basis within the capabilities of the production process
  • Connect up the piping for the Filtraflo bulk silos and assist the Shift Foreman to change over to and from the silos during the production of bulk product
  • Clean out the bagging area dust collection filter unit at the commencement of each shift and blow off all other Filtraflo blower filters that require regular cleaning
  • Assist forklift driver whenever required to
  • Assist in the relabelling of offspecification or reject material
  • Assist the Pallet Packer with his duties whenever possible
  • Ensure that the Filtraflo Plant refeed is kept clean
  • Bag off slagulant finished product when the Genulite plant is being operated
  • Assist with the cleaning up of the factory
  • May be required to carry out any other reasonable, lawful and safe task as and when required

Qualifications & Experience:


  • Matric
  • Literacy in English, both orally and writing
