    We are seeking a skilled Merchandiser to join our team at Midvaal Recruitment in Durban.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Display products in stores, ensuring that necessary stock is always available.
    • Stay up-to-date with market trends and customer needs, reporting on key insights.
    • Assemble product displays that drive sales and engagement.
    • Identify opportunities for store range expansions, driving business growth.
    • Resolve customer queries efficiently and effectively.
    • Determine customer training needs, delivering tailored support.
    • Train in-store staff on products, enhancing their knowledge and skills.
    • Assist with demo training days or trade shows, showcasing our offerings.

    Requirements:

    • Intermediate English verbal communication skills, enabling effective customer interactions.
    • Intermediate English written skills, facilitating clear and concise documentation.
    • Novice MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), supporting administrative tasks.

    Experience and Education:

    • Experience in sales, driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
    • Experience in hardware retail, understanding the nuances of the industry.
    • National Senior Certificate, demonstrating a strong foundation in education.
