Job Purpose:

To teach or lecture an agreed number of hours based on module specialisation requirements. The role involves engaging and preparing students for assessments, tracking module pacers, identifying and supporting at-risk students, managing general student administrative support, and developing assessments by collaborating with the Central Academic Team.

The Programme Coordinator will work closely with the selected candidate to track and analyse academic results, evaluating the performance of the module and identifying areas that require improvement.

• Lecturing/Teaching
• Teaching-Learning Support

• Research and/or Academic Professional Development to enhance the quality of Teaching-Learning (15%)

Minimum Requirements:

• Qualifications –

A B.Ed. Honours degree in Mathematics is ideal. The undergraduate qualification or postgraduate qualification should include a focus in Mathematics.

• Experience –

At least 3 years of teaching/lecturing/facilitation experience in the Intermediate Phase. Experience in higher education level will be advantageous.
