Position:
Part-Time
Maths and Afrikaans Primary School Tutor in Midrand


Responsibilities:


  • Providing engaging and effective Maths and Afrikaans lessons
  • Helping students understand key concepts and topics
  • Reinforcing course material to ensure mastery
  • Offering feedback and guidance on assignments and homework
  • Encouraging students to develop strong study habits and skills
  • Evaluating student progress and providing regular reports

Requirements:


  • Matriculation with a distinction in Maths and Afrikaans or a related field
  • Currently enrolled or have completed a related degree program at a reputable tertiary institution
  • Based in or near Midrand and available on weekdays for lessons
  • Own transportation is preferred

Skills:


  • Strong knowledge of Maths and Afrikaans curriculum and concepts
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to engage and motivate students
  • Passion for teaching and making a positive impact on students' academic success

Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: 2 per week


Pay:
R R220.00 per hour


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Midrand, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • Bachelors (preferred)

Experience:


  • Tutoring, teaching: 1 year (preferred)
