The Client requires the services of a Financial Administrator, to be based at their offices in Kuilsrivier


General Requirements:

  • Strong on MS Office (especially Excel)
  • Deadline driven and able to manage time
  • Meticulous and accurate with a strong attention to detail
  • Strong processing skills
  • Pastel Evolution Experience advantageous

Educational Requirements**:


  • Com or equivalent degree
  • SAIPA articles and SAIPA Professional designation advantageous

Key responsibilities:


  • Documents financial transactions by entering account information;
  • Compiling and processing journal entries;
  • Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information;
  • Process and perform daily reconciliations of internal financial systems;
  • Process and perform monthly reconciliations of key balance sheet accounts.
  • Maintains financial security by following internal controls.
  • Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
  • Analysing and investigating annual and monthly financial accounts.
  • Administrative tasks associated with the accounting function.
  • Attend to all queries from internal and external parties in a professional and timely manner.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed; and
  • Perform any task that is reasonably requested by the employer.
