    Talent Specialist @ FNB SA | Driving Business Process Improvement

    To automate processes between software development and IT teams, enabling continuous delivery through designing, developing, testing, and releasing software frequently, faster, and more reliably in an agile environment.

    About the Role

    As part of our CRO IT talent team, you will be surrounded by unique talents, diverse minds, and an adaptable environment that fosters growth and collaboration.

    You will work with various IT teams to identify opportunities for improvement, design solutions, and implement changes to enhance business processes.

    • Implement monitoring systems (e.g., AppDynamics, Grafana) to track application performance and set up alerts for critical events.
    • Experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible), CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git/Gitlab), Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
    • Adhere to security best practices when managing infrastructure, deploying applications, and maintaining server hygiene.
    • Work with various IT teams to identify, request, and document new firewall rule requests and service accounts.
    • Manage the lifecycle of certificates, including tracking for expiry, requesting, implementing, and documentation.
    • Ensure all servers are resourced correctly to avoid service disruption.
    • Support system administration tasks like user management, access control, and system patching for both Windows and Linux.
    • Plan, document, and implement Disaster Recovery for all CRO IT systems.
    • Understand technologies such as Java/.Net/Oracle Middleware.
    • Prior experience in Actimize, Fircosoft, WS02, and APISIX will be an advantage.
