    Key Responsibilities

    • We conduct detailed property valuations using investment, comparative, cost-based, residual and other methods.
    • Our analysts analyse market data and trends to determine accurate property values.
    • They prepare comprehensive valuation reports for stakeholders.
    • We review and analyse property tax assessments to identify opportunities for reduction.
    • Our team researches local, state and federal tax laws and regulations.
    • Collaboration with internal teams and external partners ensures timely and accurate valuations.
    • We participate in property inspections and provide feedback on condition and potential value.
    • We communicate with local government agencies to resolve any valuation or tax assessment issues.
    • Support for property acquisitions and dispositions includes due diligence and valuation analysis.
    • We maintain accurate records of all valuation and tax assessment data.

    Requirements

    • A bachelor's degree in real estate, finance or a related field is required.
    • Eight years of experience in property valuation and rates assessment is the minimum requirement.
    • We require strong knowledge of property valuation methods and techniques.
    • Familiarity with local, state and federal tax laws and regulations is essential.

    Skillset

    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary.
    • A strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate reports is required.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
    • The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment is crucial.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and valuation software is necessary.
