A busy and well-established automotive dealership in

Johannesburg North, is looking for a

Dealership Workshop Foreman to assist the Service Manager.


Responsibilities:


  • Supervising and training of vehicle technicians
  • Quality control and test driving vehicles
  • Assist in ordering of parts process
  • Assisting with customer technical queries
  • Manage and monitor labor sales and workshop profitability, and at all times conduct effective workshop planning
  • Plan workshop production according to productive and available staff
  • Attend to escalated workshop (technical) problems accordingly
  • Maintain good housekeeping
  • Provide feedback to all workshop staff on individual performance against targets
  • Control (WIP) work in progress on all vehicles in the workshop daily to acceptable levels
  • Manage risk within department
  • Manage and drive personal and professional development
  • Provide efficient and effective internal communication between Service Manager, Service Advisors and Parts department.
  • Assisting Service Manager where and when needed

Minimum Requirements:


  • Qualified Vehicle Technician (Trade Test Certificate)
  • At least 3 years Workshop Foreman experience in a Dealership
  • Drivers license
  • Clear criminal record
  • Stable work track record

Salary and benefits:

Negotiable basic salary (depending on experience) + Incentives + Medical Aid and Provident Fund
