KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

To render a professional funeral arranging service, to meet client requirements in order to maximize the profit and turnover of the branch.

  • Funeral Arranging Meeting - meet with the families of the deceased to discuss funeral arrangements and requests.
  • Analyse monthly financial performance and determine any discrepancies
  • Compare actual budget vs budgeted figures
  • Determine whether action plans were sufficient
  • Discuss variance with superior and revise action plans
  • Ensure all debtors are authorised according to the companies credit policy
  • Online purchasing system - sign off the purchase order / requisitions etc.
  • Stock control - monthly stock taking must be done manual and reconciled with DovesNet stock level report
  • Asset control - update asset register on a monthly basis
  • Marketing
  • New business policy sales

Minimum Requirements:


  • Matric
  • Valid Driver's license
3. 3 years' experience in a funeral arranging role will be advantageous


  • Sales and Marketing experience
