Are you a dynamic, skilled, and experienced Reservationist seeking a thrilling new challenge? Your quest for an exciting opportunity concludes here Our esteemed client extends a warm invitation to join their exceptional team for their luxurious 5-star safari camp head office, located in Springs, Johannesburg.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- To deal with reservation enquiries, bookings, deposits, cancellations, confirmations, pro-forma's
- To deal with the waitlists and complimentary reservations as per procedure
- To ensure that provisional bookings are followed up
- Check for double bookings
- Maximise occupancy with liaison of the reservationists, Reservations Manager and the General
- Manager
- Maintain good relations with all other departments
- Balance occupancies daily
- Ensure that all filing is up to date
- Maintain guest history as per procedure
- Ensure credit policy is adhered to
- Follow up on travel agent voucher correspondence and other documentation that might be
- Ensure the smooth running of the reservations department
- Check arrivals
- Check groups check payment received
- Daily reports to be completed and sent to accordingly
- Check up on no shows and cancellations
- Reporting to directors
- Sober Habits, NO DRUGS

Qualifications & Requirements:

ResRequest or similar reservations system

Matric (must have passed grade 12)

South African Citizenship
Experience:
-
4 years' proven experience as a Reservationist or in a similar guest-facing role within the hospitality industry.

ResRequest (or similar reservations system) experience essential
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and courteous demeanour.
- Strong organizational abilities, with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in reservation software and computer systems.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A passion for providing outstanding customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals.
- Familiarity with sustainable tourism practices is a plus.
- Multilingual capabilities, particularly in English, are preferred.
Package:
- Salary is negotiable depending on experience and references
- 15 days annual leave

- Working alternating weekends

Salary:
