Press Metal Production is an engineering company specializing in tool making and manufacturing components for a variety of industries depending on client needs.

• Independently control and operate a Lathe machine for each job activity according to specifications, drawings and information given.
• Review blueprints or other instructions to determine operational methods or sequences.
• Measure samples with appropriate equipment to create drawings for manufacturing.
• Start lathe or turning machines and observe operations to ensure that specifications are met.
• Correct handling and movement of objects to ensure correct machine operation.
• Monitor equipment operation to ensure there are no errors in manufacturing of jobs.
• Inspect Lathe machine and equipment to ensure that the machine and equipment is working properly to achieve operator objectives.
• Mount attachments or tools onto production equipment
• Measure dimensions of completed products to verify specifications.
• Any other duties required from management.

• Competently operate Lathe Machine.
• Ability to communicate effectively; Providing information to supervisor and coworkers as needed.
• Knowledge of Lathe machine operation with ability to identify need for repair and maintenance.
• Able to work independently without supervision as well as in a team.
