Protea Tyres, part of the TWK Agri Group, has the following vacancy available: Technician (Wheel Alignment) at Ermelo, Mpumalanga.

**Responsibilities and Duties

Removing and replacing tyres
Repairing punctures
Carrying out wheel alignment and tracking adjustments
Properly secure vehicle to lift/alignment machine to ensure safe operation
Properly dismount and remount tires and wheels securely on vehicle
Properly dismount and remount tires onto wheels without damaging either
Align and repair wheels, axles, frames, torsion bars, and steering mechanisms of automobiles, using special alignment equipment and wheelbalancing machines
Examine vehicles, compile estimates of repair costs, and secure customers' approval to perform repairs
Inspect or test parts to determine nature or cause of defects or malfunctions
Recommend product or component design improvements based on data and observations
Maintain test equipment in operational condition by performing routine maintenance or making minor repairs or adjustments as needed
Inspect equipment for safety prior to use, and perform necessary basic maintenance tasks
