    Job Functions:

    We are seeking a Transformation Specialist to lead Employment Equity and Skills Development initiatives within the group. The core responsibilities will be to enable equity and equal opportunities, as well as development of employees.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Define, own and lead the Employment Equity initiatives within the group in accordance with the group's EE strategy.
    2. Conduct EE-related consultations and implement initiatives to drive and support attainment of EE Strategy and Targets.
    3. Monitor and track engagements in accordance with EEA and EE Strategy.
    4. Lead legislated forum meetings: Prepare EE reports in EEA formats, including leading meetings of annual EE submissions with Skills Development Manager, HR Managers and HR Director.
    5. Perform operational duties to fulfill EEA requirements of reporting, analysis, insights, and Functional Targets.
    6. Continuously review and improve our EE processes by undertaking regular reviews and assisting in reviews, administrative systems, and procedures.
    7. Ensure the accuracy of information by regularly conducting checks and sample audits as appropriate.
    8. Liaise and partner with HR Practitioners on development plans to support, impact and drive the success of our EE targets and strategy.
    9. Track employee development for EE purposes and workplace profile statistics.
    10. Be responsible for EE data in accordance with the EEA.
    11. Monitor employee movements and workplace profile statistics.
    12. Reconcile data with various systems for accuracy.
    13. Advise and influence functional Directors on EE status and gaps.
    14. Manage relationships with Department of Labour by Reporting, keeping abreast of new developments, advising, and partnering with business and implementing new requirements.
    15. Stay up-to-date with reward practices of direct and indirect competitors and market practice, sharing knowledge as appropriate.
    16. Support Talent Management and Succession Planning, Organization Design and Development insights and analytics throughout the group.

    Skills Development Responsibilities:

    1. Formulate operational and tactical plans to implement Bluespec Group Skills Development Policy principles.
    2. Consult with business to implement effective Learning and Development solutions.
    3. Develop and maintain sound relationships with all relevant stakeholders.
    4. Compile monthly Learning and Development reports.
    5. Guide and advise senior management on leading skills development strategies and practices.
    6. Evaluate individual and organizational development needs.
    7. Partner with HR to ensure Skills Development interventions support talent management and succession planning of the group.
    8. Implement various learning methods companywide (Learnerships, Apprenticeships; Skills Programmes; Coaching; Mentorship; Online training etc.).
    9. Ensure full compliance with SETA requirements to enhance capability to maximize on grant intake.
    10. Use performance reviews and skills gap analyses to identify training needs per department, team and individual.
    11. Coordinate and compile the annual workplace skills plan and annual training report in line with the relevant SETA and BBBEE initiatives.

    Requirements:

    1. Experience in an HR Generalist or Specialist role.
    2. 5+ years' experience working in an Employment Equity and Skills Development role.
    3. Expert knowledge and application of the Skills Development Act; Employment Equity Act, and advantageous to have demonstrated experience in NQF Act, BBB-EE Act, BBB-EE Codes of Good Practice.
    4. Experience driving Diversity and Inclusion Initiatives in support of EE in the workplace.
    5. Understand the LRA, BCEA, SDA, and SDLA legislation.
    6. Compilation of business employment equity targets and reports.
    7. Compile Workplace Skills Plan and Annual Training Plan for all entities.
    8. Strong analytical ability: comfortable with metrics and able to drive others towards data-driven decisions.
    9. Project or program management experience- Strong IT literacy with good MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Power Point skills.
    10. Strong exposure to systems and reporting.
    11. Demonstrated Experience in implementing Skills Development and Employment Equity Strategies aligned to Business Imperatives.
    12. Relationship skills across leadership levels within the organisation.
    13. Adaptable and flexible solution-based thinking.
    14. Highly numerate and Advanced Excel skills - comfortable with financial data.

    Technical / Professional Qualifications:

    1. Education to at least first-degree level (or equivalent).
    2. HR/Industrial Psychology Degree or equivalent 3-year HR Qualification.
    3. ODETDDTP NQF Level 5.
    4. Experience as SDF and EE practitioner.
