We are a national market leader in Truck rental and logistics seeking an external Sales Representative for our Blackheath Branch.

Main Responsibilities

• New business development through cold calling, retaining, and growing existing business
• Achieving sales targets with a structured weekly call planner and reporting
• Retailing and growing new and existing customer base in assigned markets
• Researching and pursuing new business opportunities
• Conducting market research to formulate plans to expedite sales
• Responding promptly to all customer enquiries
• Preparing and presenting proposals
• Assisting in resolving day-to-day customer queries
• Maintaining good working relationships with customers and staff
• Monitoring competitor activity
• Team work and collaboration

Requirements

• 3-5 years of strong sales and account management experience (preferably in a service industry)
• Valid Code 8 drivers license
• High level of computer literacy, particularly in MS Excel
• SAP Experience advantageous
• Understanding of general business concepts
• Experience in all aspects of customer relationship management
• Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to speak and understand English and Afrikaans proficiently
• Mature, resilient, and able to handle pressure
• Professional in all aspects
• Good negotiating skills
• Positive attitude
