Description

As Head of Finance, you'll be responsible for a combination of broad financial functional areas (e.g., controller plus other functions), including financial reporting, compliance, financial planning, cost savings, general financial controls, financial systems and input to external reporting requirements.

He/she will also oversee the tax and treasury functions where applicable.

**Requirements

  • Ensure that all financial processes, systems, and policies are established, adhered to and improved over time.
  • Oversee the work in progress cycle and ensure proper and efficient costing, managing operational cost recovery and operational expenditure.
  • Contributes to the analysis, preparation and continuous improvement of several financial reports and ensures the distribution and presentation of this information at the relevant forums.
  • Implement and manage compliance with financial controls.
  • Oversees reconciliations, payments, purchase orders and ensures that the gross profit percentage is maximized.
  • Manages maintenance contracts specific to the company's residence, ensuring that correct revenue and cost deferrals and contract renewals are processed on their anniversary date.
  • Manage a team of managers carrying out the financial management and control processes.
  • Ensure legal compliance with regard to legal and fiscal tax requirements in relation to the geography in which they operate.
  • Ensure that annual audit processes are coordinated effectively and followed.
  • Annually initiates and oversees the process of budget compilation and management.
  • Cashflow management and continues improvement.
**Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field required.
  • Least 5 years' experience in a Financial Manager role.
  • CA (SA) advantageous.
